Makes sense considering this episode takes place in an alternate universe. -- Last edit: 2012-09-28 23:56:00 (G-MANN) |

The plate looks about the right vintage for the Range Rover, which means it would be a 2004 model. |

CE54LDO was a real registration, it's listed here: http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/ (this site recognises registrations that don't appear on other plate check sites). A lot of fancy 4x4s get personalised registrations. |

Thumbnail from The Christmas Invasion seems to be a later 2006-09 car. -- Last edit: 2012-09-29 00:01:55 |

G-MANN is it really worth editing other people's comments written three years ago? Whatever the reason isn't it a case of a locking a stable door not only after the horse has bolted but some time afterwards, when the horse has died of old age, been turned into dog food, came out of the dog in the time honoured fashion and the dog's leaving completely biodegraded. Not the first time I've noticed this (I saw one the other day with a six year period between posting and being edited) and it strikes me as being somewhat odd, and you are usually the first to point out others' odd behaviour. |

I do it sometimes too, but only if there's some misinformation I want to correct or something I deem to be important. I'm sure it was the same with G-MANN. |

Indeed, I'm sure there is a good reason, but aren't you more prompt than three years? |
◊ 2012-09-29 00:38 |
It depends. Sometimes I find comments that are up to 5 years old that I edit that I had never seen before. Other times I'll clean up pages when there is a lot of misinformation/off-topic comments. When I edit, I only change technical information, never other people's opinions and such. |

All I was doing was editing out the bit where he quoted the comment immediately before his. It doesn't matter how old the comment is, it's just tidying up the page. Although maybe I should do it a bit less if it looks odd. But there's times where someone quotes a big comment and I think then it should be edited out. -- Last edit: 2012-09-29 00:50:02 |

Okay, I just find it strange that there was such a time difference between the comment being posted and it being edited, and only really commented as it only ever seems to be you that I notice doing it. |

I know, it's really quite fastidious. |
◊ 2012-09-29 01:49 |
Indeed, As Adrian Monk would say 'it's a gift... and a curse'. (not that I'm saying you are like Adrian Monk, it just seemed to be a relevant quote related to fastidiousness). |
◊ 2012-09-29 01:49 |
I just remove quotes though, I never really edit anyone's words (well... I admit I've done made corrections once or twice ) Have never watched Monk so I don't know what he's like -- Last edit: 2012-09-29 01:50:29 |
