Epsom, at a big race. Possibly a BBC radio/TV commentary car. There's another similar just off to the left![]() with a camera and roof platform. Another woodie on left in opening clip ![]() ![]() ... no idea if same/similar production car or random coincidence. |

Judging by that front tyre, this may be an ex-service vehicle of some sort, possibly re-bodied for use by a film company or the Beeb. The headlight sunk into the front wing could help. Ford? Link to "www.goodingco.com" -- Last edit: 2022-10-16 15:08:34 |

24 hours this has been waiting. 48 if you accept the first attempt. Not a single response, and not as if, if I am right, it’s anything too exotic. |

Agree Ford, and V8 wagon likely, but after that I'm lost. Woodie style is different from the linked 39 US style (3 wood bands instead of 2, front door looks hinged on B-pillar). So maybe UK body?? Or an Irish build?? Or one of the C11 versions some of which were adopted for broadcast use?? |

Front wheel makes me think more of a Ford C11 version rather than a rebodied car |

I'd say this is one half of a 39/40 Ford WOC1 converted into a Station Wagon. It has those typical off-road tires at the front and plain hood (or bonnet) devoid of trim. Not to mention that the tire size at the front axle differ from those at the rear axle. The wooden body is definitely not an American one. |

It seems sensible to go with Lateef’s suggestion so - “1940 Ford WOC1 Station Wagon conversion” if everyone aggres. |

Too many folk/things obscuring key bits, so the only comment I can offer is that it looks shorter wheelbase than a full estate like the C11, particularly the front wing ahead of the doors, so rebuilt truck looks plausible and WOC1 seems to fit. |
