Jennifer Garner's character actually looks quite a lot like Ellen Page to show how they're both the mother of this child and the Lexus cars are a contrast to Juno's family owning just the plain Toyota. Same company, but one has the luxury car and the other has the everyday one. I don't think that's a mistake.
