I know this one is made for USA. Is this one from UK or Germany? |

We listed these as German, though that European would be better; as often with these Ford. -- Last edit: 2008-04-13 19:42:37 |

At this point, the Capri (II) was "mostly" German. It had the "Pinto" 2.3 liter 4-cyl or a German-derived 2.8 V6. I don't know if these engines were installed in Europe before being shipped to the U.S. or after they were in the country. |

From memory all MkII Capris exported to the USA were built in Germany. (At the time UK cars were seen as less reliable even if they were from a Ford plant.) The complete cars, including the engine installation, were assembled in Cologne. -- Last edit: 2008-04-13 19:23:13 |
