I actually thought Moskvitch 400 at first also, but then I saw the country of origin was listed as Belgium on IMDB... We're Belgian film companies doing projects with the USSR back in the 80s? |

except for the Lada (Niva) there was never a Moskvitch in Belgium or France. Still today, in France, nobody knows these Russian brands: Volga, ZIL etc at that time it was, to my knowledge, not possible ; it was still the eastern block against the western one... everyone saw spies everywhere I think it's an Opel Olympia model 1949-50 too |

[L-50], 1950-53 - don't know which name it had in Belgium (Bestelwagen in Flemish, Fourgonnette in French...) EDIT: I see we have one as Bestelwagen, but the naming issue wasn't really resolved in that case either by DynaMike's comment... |

Opel Olympia Kastenwagen |

Apparently Opel didn't use the name Olympia for the van, just 'Opel Lieferwagen', so now we translate Lieferwagen in every language. For me Olympia would still be preferable to Bestelwagen, which isn't a model name either. |

I'll call it Fourgonnette because the strike of 1960 was mainly a Wallonian thing. |
