Because the one on the thumb has a white roof, it's likely a Consul Deluxe. |

As far as I understand it was just called "Consul 375". However, in sales catalogues it was indeed named "Standard", but that was never stated on any car, like the "De luxe" badge. If the name "Standard" as a proper designation has to be included, it makes naming cars very difficult indeed. That is because every model of every car used different names. |

![]() But actually, there's a serious anwer as well. According to Olyslager Motor Manual 58 concerning Standard Eight and Ten, the most inexpensive model was called: Standard Eight Basic Saloon, available between September 1953 and May 1955. @dsl: Please remove "Standard" from the model name! |
