What an absolutely foul, aggressive looking heap. All manufacturers, including the once was admirable Bentley, seem to be trying to outdo each other with the most in-yer-face, get-out-of-my-way, ugly grilles. Something missing in the personalities of the people who buy such junk, I think. -- Last edit: 2022-05-31 09:44:40 |

Well, I for one applaud Rolls-Royce for creating for that segment something that is not directly an SUV but more like a large, spacious station wagon. |

SUV's are just giant boxes that look like blobs. They're trying to add style to them with these grilles. Here's one for you, a 1947 Bentley Mk. VI I saw in the fall, just got around to posting the pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-05-31 17:14:28 |

Add style? They fail miserably. Not just SUVs, have you seen a new BMW recently? Bentley is Chassis # B167BG, Supplied new to Mr Ernest Tweedale, R. Shackleton and Son. Mr. Tweedale later owned B209MB, Reg MNC111, now in Aus. -- Last edit: 2022-06-01 15:09:20 |

This was in Wildwood, New Jersey, wearing Pennsylvania tags. It was spotted earlier in the year in Washington State, and in 2014, British Colombia, when it was all black. I wonder if this is owned by the older couple I met earlier this month with a 1980 Audi 5000. They had just recently moved to PA from Washington State and said they also owned an older Saab. |
