It was very rarely sold and quite unpopular (ugly shape and not practical like the 5-door or Variant). The only people, who have used it, were retired couples - and the military priests of the Bundeswehr. This one was obviously made between late 1980 and 1982, because the colour looks like "monacoblau". On a 5-door monacoblue 1981 Passat LS (pre-CL) I made my first driving experiences as a young driver. My father had such a car.
