I am a little bit puzzled here because there are two different Hudsons on these views. The large picture shows a Hudson Super Wasp from 1953. 1953 Hudsons can easily be distinguished from the 1951 and 1952 cars by the absence of the inversed V in the middle of the grille. The Wasp series had the four bumper guards as on this one .Super Wasps were an intermediate model in Hudson's line and were powered by the 262 cubic inches six developing 127 horsepower , The small picture on the left shows the rear of this car .But the small picture on the right shows the front of a 1952 Hornet or Commodore. So it should be separated from the first one . |

I think that they are all supposed to be the same car in the movie. We'll wait for Bebert to confirm that. Like often, I guess they used several similar car in the movie, and did not think that somebody would notice they were different models (I did not notice it ). As other example, sixcyl spotted three different Citroën 15 Six in the same role: /vehicle_15953-Citroen-15-Six-1938.html -- Last edit: 2005-12-30 16:10:00 |

If the cars are supposed to be the same car in the movie , but nevertheless are different I think they deserve a separate thumbnail anyway if sufficiently clear.Afterall movie pictures of these cars are not that frequent. |

je confirme que dans le film, il devrait s'agir du même véhicule. |

In Hudson General Specifications 49/57 the model is Wasp Super, not Super Wasp Edited: I missed the thumbnail where I saw Wasp Super. Anyway the car is called Super Wasp on this page Link to "classiccardatabase.com" -- Last edit: 2011-12-07 17:59:42 |

That has got to be one of the best looking car designs I've ever seen, right here. Gotta love the Hudson. |

Does a Super Wasp have Twin H power as a standard, or was it an option? |
