Nothing tells them appart in this case -only rear badge would. Passenger mirror was optional on the 8's but this here has one (I think?) and most would get one after x years anyway. Another thing is side intake grille colour (supposed to always be black in very early 8's only) but here we're past that point (looks body-coloured). You can go by numbers (147 US 8's vs 69 qv's) but that excludes 80s gray imports.. So a dead end. |
