It is very difficult to tell from the gloomy picture exactly what we have here as the various four seat dhcs on sale in the late forties/early fifties all looked very similar from this angle, but I am going to suggest that it is a Singer Roadster, and anyone who wants to argue had better have some good reasoning! |

by the size, the shape of the hood and doors and its English cars, I agree with the Singer roadster there is only the rims (chromed?) that bother me a little..well done Watson ! ![]() |

Thank you, my main advantage with the cars of this era is that when I was young most of them were still in regular use on the roads of UK. My first car was a Ford 103E, 1954, but I nearly bought an Austin Ruby, but for the extra £20 I might have done. My Bentley will be 70 years old in 2023.
