Was listed as Renault alliance, but I received a comment saying that it is not one... and indeed that door does not look correct for that ![]() |

Indeed, it looks rather like an MG B... |

... although the rims are wrong. If I ever remember what 2- or 3-door car had rims like this, I'll tell you ... |

Further to the above ... Triumph Spitfire Mk.IV? |

I got as far as Triumph but there's no bonnet side catches visible and the belt line looks straight? |

Foreground [rear] wheel very convincing for a late Spitfire with US-style whitewall, but background [front] wheel looks different - black centre and no whitewall?? Bodywork definitely not a Spitfire, and initially looks MGB-ish but door shape and front wheel arch aren't quite right. Other ideas like a Midget or TR4/5/6/7 or even a Jensen Healey don't match either. So all I can offer is an unknown crash car with an - incorrect - slave Triumph wheel. |

Pics have come and gone over the years which has confused things. But now it's clear as a rubber boat MGB - rear outline of door, rear lights - but fitted with assorted junkyard wheels. Clearest in 993cc's thumbs, and Terra's 2nd thumb shows bonnet and wings outline pointing right. |
