Interesting! Would be nice to have a picture. The official name is 'S.S. 100 2.5 Litre Jaguar' (1936-39) or 'S.S. 100 3.5 Litre Jaguar' (1938-39). 'Jaguar' became the marque name in 1945 -- after the war the old name was no longer acceptable, obviously. In 1935 'Jaguar' was used as a model name for the first time on the then new 'S.S. 90'. William Lyons found the S.S. Ltd. in 1922. S.S. stood for Swallow Sidecar. Before he started building cars in the late 1920s he had made motorcycle sidecars. |

I knew the stuff aroud SS and Jaguar, but for this model is also common the marking Jaguar SS100. Anyway I will try to find the pic from DVD. |

Well, I was trying to find out something about this Jag and it looks like, that it was a goof - that it is in museum now.. I saw it somewhere, but really dont know if the article was so reliable.. I have found this car (for 99% - I think, that in CZ, would not be more than 1 green SS100) and it is in private hands in Prague. Here is the pic of it.
