The radiator looks like a Bristol. The bus may have locally built bodywork on a Bristol chassis, and appears to be operated by Public Utility Transport Corporation of Johannesburg, known as “Putco”. The problem is that I can’t find any historic fleet details. |

Agreed it's a locally bodied Bristol L or LL - there were a number operated in South Africa - see http://bristolsu.co.uk/l/index.htm |

Thanks, Steve. I had heard/read of Putco somewhere, they seem to have built in-house coachwork, but there is very little history on the internet, and BLOTW seems to have nothing. |
