You do. From this angle it looks like a pre-1965 (even a Pope's nose lamp housing?) What would it be like, for a normal citizen, buying a car from across the border during the cold war- @Ingo, @andrepa, @Animatronixx, @Mystery Man? |

OK. Just me being curious. Remember, it's only 60 years, about the time this car was new, since we could freely buy new Western cars up here in Norway as well. |

Owning a car in the GDR was something special. Owning a Western car, the condition doesn't matter, was nearly priceless and just possible as artist, when you got it before the Wall, with Western relatives, living in East Berlin or just with very good contacts... |
