It is a Ferrari logo for sure, but is there a car behind that? I would not list that as a car anyway |

Looks like it's part of a real Ferrari, and if it that is definetely the case then it should be listed. Better than listing cars like this /vehicle.php?id=148254 which are ten a penny (very common). -- Last edit: 2008-01-09 12:15:39 |

At least the other one is visually recognizable as a car |

Maybe Or part of a set on a Ferrari stand/stall. |

Maybe those who have seen the movie can describe how this image appears within in the movie (perhaps someone goes into an exotic car dealership or something), that would help. |

this is only flashed on the screen during the opening credits and background story (as was the mercedes mclaren, rolls royce, unidentified pick-up truck & a few others) -- Last edit: 2008-01-09 12:41:47 |

You could be right: http://sapioi.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/ferrari_f40_hr_manu-04.jpg It's not just some object with a Ferrari badge on it. They used that kind of badge (the text logo as opposed to the Prancing Horse logo) on the lids of rear engined (or mid-engined) Ferraris from the 80s and 90s (maybe earlier as well). |

I agree on F40, the size of the vents and the black space down to the licensplate seems to match. Should we call it F40 then? |

I agree as well, the dimensions and those holes match to a F40 |

There you have it, another F40! Much better to have on the site than a dull old background Astra |
