Honda Accord Aerodeck [CD] - a surprise, I must say. Dunno if those were built in Ohio to or shipped from Japan...

No, not an aerodeck (whatever that is), it's a U.S. spec station wagon 1994-1997

Aerodeck is Honda's name for this wagon :wow:

Wasn't Aerodeck name for that wagon used only in Europe? Or even just in UK?

Yeah, they didn't call it aerodeck in the US.

Perhaps everywhere BUT the US... I was convinced that name was used in the US too, though...

Aerodeck was introduced for 3 door "shooting brake" Accord 3rd gen sold in Europe and Japon only.
It was succesfull and Honda Europe decided to keep this name for wagon of the 4th and 5th gen Accord, both made in USA. Even Swindon made Civic wagon (from 1998) were Aerodeck.

This name disappeared with the present Accord(in sedan form, North American Acura TSX), called Tourer in Europe (and Wagon in Japan)

I'm not sure of this chassis code. These were CE1 or CE2 in Europe, CD were coupé. What could be true for old generation like CA is not for more recent car.

Well, and this car has orange flasher, so it is 1996+

In Europe it is definitaly called Aerodeck (from 1985-1997). I own one and i'm a Honda enthusiast. Especially the Accord.

And yes, The Code is CE1 (2.2, 150 HP) or CE2 (2.0, 136 HP)

But:
the orange indicators were only in Europe built in 1996-1997 models. In the US it was the other way round.
Take a sharp look to the hood and recognize the "H" on it. This indicates the car to the pre-face lift model 1993-1996 ;) In 1996 it went into the grille between the head lights

it is a 94-95 ce1, those are the only 2 years that the h was on the hood of the ce1 in america. it was only called 'aerodeck' in europe and select other 'edm' countries. even in japan it was called 'u.s. wagon'. the orange lights on the bumper were standard on all ce1 models in the us, 94-97. there was also the chassis code cf2(2.2, 200 hp), not available in america.

Just to elaborate. These guys were correct in their assessments. The only thing is the US never received the [CE2]; like Europe. So this will be listed as [CE1]. Japan did receive the H22 in their 1994-1997 wagon which resulted in code [CF2].
Edit: Japan did receive the [CE1] as well. So Europe and Japan seemed to get two engines while the NA market received 1.
