American trucks of the early twenties are very difficult to identify since many were alike having veed radiator cowls at the top with mostly slight differences in the ribs layout.The second one of the movie " Speedy" , vehicle 74950 is correctly identified as a Pierce Arrow model X , X-3 or X-4 ( 2 or 3 1/2 tonner) ca 1924.The round cowl line and small and numerous radiator ribs are typically Pierce Arrow. The one in Dr.Jack has large painted ribs and a high V cowl .It could be a 1921 4000 lbs Traffic Truck ( Traffic Motor Truck Company St. Louis ).The first one of the movie "Speedy" vehicle 75069 appears to have a rounder radiator Vee cowl with inclined ribs more typical of an early twenties Indiana ( Indiana Truck Corporation N.Y.)
