I am thinking Caprice Classic.

I am also thinking I need boots like those!

Wood trim might indicate Buick or Pontiac.

Definately a Pontiac Safari with those taillights. 1985-1990

If it's not a Caprice Estate(Chevy)it's a Parisienne Grand Safari?(Pontiac)

Could be? But IIRC,the "wood" upgrades it to a "Grand",at least,it used to???

Looks like a Chevrolet Caprice Estate Wagon to me.

It is in Canada, in case this also changes the name of the car... (as it sometimes does for Buick)

Yes Chevy Caprice Estate 1986-1988 for sure later models (89-90) had visible 3 Point Rear Safety Belts

I agree that it is an 86-88 Chevrolet Caprice Estate - it has the post-85 nose. I believe the wood on the Safari ran up above the door handles like on the Buick Estate. The wood on the Caprice and the Custom Cruiser was under the door handles as seen above. I also think that the C-pilar on the Safari was brushed aluminum while it was body colored on the Caprice.

Yes, you're right about the aluminum C-pillar on the Pontiacs, so it must be a Caprice.

It looks exactly like my car. I own a 1988 Chevy Caprice Estate. They didn't look like this after 1989, and you are right about the second row seatbelts, those were only on the 1989 model. The only difference between mine and the one in this picture is what I think you are called a "C-Pillar", the part between the rear door window and the large back window. Mine has a chrome thing there. Not really sure about that, but everything else looks exactly like mine, so I would say 88 or older Caprice Estate.
