i'd be tempted by either the Golf or that white sedan alone in front of the O

Interesting?

On a scale of zero to zero point zero zero zero one? We have here the automobile equivalent of what bird watchers call the little brown job.

As Golf is already listed, I'd go for the lonely white 9.

As they say: one man's trash is another man's treasure :)

I can't remember the last time I saw any of these in this picture (except for that MK 1 Golf and a Volvo of similar vintage), so for me, they're far more interesting than any of the modern cars we see today. But I guess it's purely for the nostalgic factor.

Gone are the days when, in every French car park, amongst the ranks of 203s and deux chevaux you might find M. Hulot’s Salmson, or a Rochet-Schneider converted into a Camion de dépannage, more’s the pity.

And I fully agree with that as well :)

However in 40-50 years, someone could also say "I miss Peugeot 1007. You don't see them anymore as they're all extinct by now". Every generation who grew up with cars which they saw when they were younger, will have always sentiments for that :)
