Since 1985 all Panthers are only built at St. Thomas Assembly (Canada) |

For me it's just another Ford CV, so next time I will think again it's just a Ford CV, unless you make a comment of course ![]() |

Panthers? All Crown Victoria and Marquis of that era are built in Canada? It seems that they do not make much cars in USA ![]() Anyway as I said mass-changes should be indicated in the forum. I won't reopen the sql admin and retype the query each time there is a comment about that. I'll do all of them together when I've few time. -- Last edit: 2007-11-24 23:41:07 |

He's right. All of these "Panther" bodies have been built in Canada. Ah, don't you just love it how the United States is outsourcing everything...? ![]() |

The Town Car is also on the Panther platform, but now it occurred to me the Town Car was made at Wixom until it closed, so my comment was imprecise. Anyway, yes, CVs and Grand Marquees are only built in Canada since 1985. Same applies for the only other V8, rear engined American sedans, the LX cars from Chrysler. So, yes, the traditional American large cars are not made in the USA anymore ![]() |
