Seems to be marketed in the UK as 'Hi-Ace Dropside Pickup' Link to "www.veikl.com" Or 'Hi-Ace 1600 Dropside Pick-Up' Link to "www.ebay.ie" I suggest HiAce [H10] with 1600 Dropside Pick-Up in the extra info, assuming 1.6 engine was the only available option in the UK (or not?). If not, then simply Dropside Pick-Up. |

Remember these in their day and most seemed to be a kind of Marine Blue although there was the odd white one. Very popular with small builder fraternity and still are as along with the other Japanese dropsides/tippers they are narrow and can get up suburban house drives easy. Not many survivors from the 70s , suppose like all pickups builders / farmers / fishermen / milkmen etc worked them to death. Other thing as a talking point at a classic show they do not look much different from subsequent variations up to the present time ! -- Last edit: 2020-06-16 08:05:09 |

UK only had 1.6 engine from launch here Aug 72 until early 78 (Feb?) when 2.0 arrived alongside. 72+ UK codes listed by Glass's as [RH11B] Pick-up, [RH11-3] Chassis cab and [RH11VE] Van, but I guess we can stay with [H10] for simplicity??? |
