The "Buddy" is made in Taiwan by PGO... as well as the "black cat", "blur" & "rattler". Though the "Stella" is made in India by LML Motorcycles. Though Genuine is a US company. -- Last edit: 2007-12-14 00:19:09 |

So that scooter in that TV series is obviously an example for "product placement"? The way, who the camera is hold in that scene, give me that impression. Anyways: Asian made scooters are for me always these vehicles, which are placed as special bargains at the exit of big supermarkets or mega-stores. |

the Genuine products in the US have great customer feedback are are only second to new Piaggio product for quality. Genuine is the sister company of Scooterworks USA who sell vintage Vespa parts and have a great reputation that seems to carry over to the Genuine product. I do agree most other asian especially Chinese scooters are useless. |
