The vehicle or stunt coordinator may have just thought it looked cool or had better handling characteristics for their purpose. Or maybe the message is that the main character worked in a department that was a low priority in the budget. |

Driven by the main character; Sheriff Bill Hollister (portrayed by Stephen Dorff) who in the show uses "old-school" methods to uphold the law and bringing down the criminals from wannabe gangsters to harden members of the Mexican drug cartels.
