Series II/IIa is correct, therefore not 1972 but 1958-68. Did the Dutch numberplate provide that year? Might be the year of demob, as it is ex-military ... well, at least the front bumper is! ;) The outer lights are later add-ons, possibly original bug-eye wings. The grey paint looks like a film-crew job. You don't usually dent a Landy in such places ... and if you do, so what? It's Birmabright! :)

I'm sorry, you're right. It's 1968, I have watched the wrong column:

Datum eerste afgifte Nederland (first registration NL) 06-09-1972
Datum eerste toelating (first admission) 30-06-1968
Datum aanvang tenaamstelling (date registrerd to last owner) 20-03-1989

Thanks antp!
Difference between first registration and first admission indicates that the car is imported or has been suspended and/or missing papers. The last option never occurs now because they work with a 1, 2, 3 etc on the numberplate in case of missing papers.

From the RDW website. This car still exists but has not been used for some time; APK (MOT/TUV) expired 2001-04-07.

Yes - it's the "Bugeye" spec used briefly late 67 into early 68 for US, NL, and B.
