But later on in the episode Larry comes across someone selling a Prius for $21,680, which is the real blue book value, Jeff paid him $5000 less than that. When Larry is on his deathbed, he asks Jeff to give the missing $5000 to his wife Cheryl. When Larry "dies" Jeff tries to back out of it but Cheryl insists. Bear in mind Larry David made hundreds of millions of dollars in the syndication deal for his show "Seinfeld" (although Cheryl didn't really know what was in his will).
