A bit of a mess. Main on its own is similar to this 1986-ish Mini Mayfair and possibly reflects the resumption of J imports at that point. Also note that it has the normal saloon rear window without the back door silhouettes. The thumb is a Mini Traveller/Countryman - 1961 Mk1 or 1968 Mk2 or 1970-81 Clubman. But - leaving aside the rear door silhouettes - this is a 1970+ front, probably mid-80s as described above, but the only 1970+ Traveller had the Clubman front. So either meant to be 2 different cars or a big artistic cock-up if it's supposed to be the same. There is a microscopic possibility that they were trying to draw a retro/rebuild Broadspeed or similar estate like this one, which did become popular in J, but 1991 film seems a bit early. Similar discussion here So entering as 1986 Mayfair for main, and can't make it match the estate (which is too vague to get a proper ID). |
