Useless I can see, since it's nowhere near the lock so wouldn't protect from key-gouging. But how was it dangerous? |

Dangerous: Try going for the door handle in a hurry, just to get your nails caught in the gap... Useless: You do gain protection against your nails, as well as rings or other jewelry |
