In the right lane from the front - 1965 Chev Impala hardtop, 1963? Mercury convertible, blue 1960? Ford Thunderbird, the brown one - ?? - maybe a 61-63 TBird?, white 1966 Pontiac Bonneville convertible, lemon 1958 Chevrolet Impala?, 1964? Chevy 2? In the left lane from the front - white 1964 Rambler American, 1965? Corvette convertible?, VW squareback, blue 1966 Chevrolet Impala hardtop, white 1940 Chevrolet sedan, the silver one maybe a 1965 Cadillac?, Jeep Cherokee or International Scout?? and the nose of a 1964 Pontiac. Parked on the side - a blue 1965? Mustang, a 1964? Lincoln, a 1962 Buick and at the back a 1956 Buick?? The dark blue van maybe a late '50s Chev. |

I am going to say the first white hardtop is a 1966 Chevy. The convertable behind it could be a 1965 Dodge Polara/Monaco. The 'lemon' looks to be a 1959 Ford. The blue Chevy is the 65. To me, the panel truck in the alley is a 50s Ford. I think the Pontiac Convertable is a 1965. Comments?? |

Big Dave, I think you're right! In the right lane from the front - 1966 Chev Impala hardtop, 1965 full size Dodge convertible the brown one 1964-66 T-Bird, white 1965 Pontiac convertible. In the left lane from the front - white 1964 Rambler American, 1966? Corvette 427 convertible (hood bulge), VW squareback, blue 1965 Chevrolet Impala hardtop, white 1941 Chevrolet sedan, the silver one a 1966 Cadillac, I can't tell what's the wagon behind but it's not a Jeep Cherokee (only the Wagoneer was available then) and the nose of a 1964 Pontiac. Parked on the side - a blue 1965? Mustang, a ??, a 1961 Buick and at the back a 1955 Buick. |

For the parked car near the old Chevy, who thinks it might be an Imperial?? |

I think the light blue & white one at the very top is a '61 Chrysler 300G, looks like it has the canted headlight stacks and the crossbar on the grille. I can see how it could be a '55 Buick though, with all that chrome giving the illusion of quad headlights. -- Last edit: 2007-09-05 21:50:23 |

Pour sortir cette photo des "unknows", mettons la sous la mention de la doyenne de la photo, la 1941 Chevrolet |

as for the parked car nearest the old, white Chevy, I vote Lincoln continental, 64? or 65? The silver car driving next "up" looks like some kind of Pontiac nose, due to the reflection and "lens flare" off the chrome. Trying to see through that says to me 65? or 66? Caddy - I "think" I'm seeing a horizontal bar on the grille. If so, it'd be a '66. |

Bringing this back into attention. Almost all cars have been identified, but none have been chosen. My votes: White 65 Impala hardtop White 63 Mercury convertible Tan VW wagon Silver/Blue 62 Buick The only one not identified positively was the brown SUV/Wagon ahead of the Pontiac in the left travel lane (as viewed by camera) at the end of the column. -- Last edit: 2008-06-30 08:34:29 |
