[146] or [225]? Link to "itaro.com.ua" |

Well, it is part of the [146] family since it's based on the Brazilian Uno CS, whereas [225] is the 2008+ generation. However, don't know if we want to use [146], mixing it with regular Unos..Once I read that code for 1987-2001 Fiorino was [146L] IIRC but I haven't solid proofs @AleX_DJ what do you think? I'm looking for a VIN but all plates I am checking don't pull the VIN.. Edit: Found one: ZFA14600008647262 It says just 146.. -- Last edit: 2021-01-13 23:00:16 |

Well, being based on the Brazilian Uno it's a different chassis, derived from the previous 147... so I believe the chassis code has also to be different, it's a properly different car from the European Uno sharing only the styling |

Indeed I agree with you on this aspect..for first series it's easier, I'd say [147], but on this one I'm not sure.. Anyway, Uno CS and Duna are 146B, and they use the same underpinnings.. -- Last edit: 2021-01-13 23:03:20 |

Do the 146B models include the B in the VIN number? |

I just pulled an Innocenti Elba found online (I pulled a few Duna but the app didn't return any VIN) and its VIN is ZFA14600005807714, so, no, they all have just 146 in the VIN it appears. Instead, 1986-2003 Panda, whose code is [141A], does include 141A in VINs. It seems that all European Uno (the mk2 too), Fiorino, Innocenti Mille (rebadged Brazilian Uno CS) and Elba (rebadged Duna) all have just [146] in the VIN. Possibly also Uno CS and Duna (the app didn't pull any VIN). At least this regarding European models. -- Last edit: 2021-01-14 00:00:00 |

Which might suggest that 146L, if we can get some more proof of it, could be correct for the Fiorino and would separate it from the regular Unos. So maybe not yet a definitive answer but at least something to bear in mind for investigation. |

Once I read on an Italian forum (I will try to find the post..) that the internal codes for the Uno family were (IIRC): [146A] or even [146E] for European Uno 2a serie [146B] for Brazilian Uno and derived models (Duna, Premio, Penny etc..) [146L] for Fiorino I think also AleX_DJ mentioned something like this (I remember having read it somewhere), maybe his sources were the same as mine |
