GLE would have had chrome on the door handles and GLT/Turbo would have had a black grille and black around the windows. 740 GL was introduced in the autumn of 1984, as of MY 1985. Hence this is (at least) a 1985+ Volvo 740 GL. Last possible year 1989.

This is a base model 740, namely a GL. GLE would have had chrome on the door handles and GLT/Turbo would have had a black grille and black around the windows.
740 GL was introduced in the autumn of 1984, as of MY 1985.

Hence this is (at least) a 1985+ Volvo 740 GL. Last possible year 1989.
