Even though the film is not yet out, I had to add this image!

It is interesting to note that this is a "White Nose" A35. While the A30 had a full chrome grill, the A35 had it painted in matching colour. Only the Mk.II A35 Van had this white painted grill. At that time the sedans were no longer being made in favour of the Mini and the A40.

How accurate is it if it is only a toy car?

Well, the model for the film was only made a couple of years ago, but the car that is referenced is definitely the one I named above. I would say that is what counts with animated vehicles.

I read that a real A35 van was painted up for publicity purposes.

They did two. One was dolled up with dents and rust while the other was just covered in anti pesto stickers.
the second one was sold without the stickers on ebay a few months ago for about £7000
which is a lot for an Austin A35 van (especially one without mot!!!)

The main picture should really be changed as it is a promotional shot.

Considering the pedal rubber pattern was identical to that as on my mate's 1957 Austin A35 saloon - pretty accurate for a TV model!!!

It should get 5 stars, because it is used in nearly all of the movie.

Nick Park's movies are great.

Does somebody remember all extra equipment parts of Wallace A35?

I laughed till choke when the airbag deployed at end of chase. :)

That's the 4-star rating.
5 is when the car is part of the plot, or a famous symbol.
