You're right, I got sidetracked by the remarks about US models :-). It is indeed a british example. It's the 1st series SD1 (rear bumpers not extending to rear wheel arch), so it could only be a 2600 or a 3500. Since the 3500 generally had a small V8 badge on the front wings, this is most likely a 2600 |

Agree 3500 - has fogs (only optional on 2600) and proper stainless steel wheel covers - 2600 were painted plastic. |

No - incorrect, but I can guess what you're getting at. First SD1s had no badge on front wings, but Jan 80+ they all got engine size badges there - 3500, or 2600, or 2300 - which continued for later additional models - 2400SD and 2000. Noted however that 1981+ posh 3500s (SE, VdP) had V8 badges instead - only used for a year in UK, but more widely used and for longer on export 3500s. |
