I don't recall the Polara having a wagon model. Could this be a Dart? |

Actually I forgot to check those, and they look very similar, from what I can find at the moment both were available as wagons. But on the pictures I´ve found so far it seems that the Polara Wagons were Hardtops and the Darts had pillars. The grille on this one looks a little more like Dart but on the other hand it looks to be a Hardtop wagon. So I don´t know for sure. |

This is the Dodge Dart. They had a Dart 330 as the low end Dart and the top trim level was called the (440). The Dart, although downsized, was the full size Dodge for 1962. It didn't sell well and mid year they brought back the larger Dodge based on the 1961 model. It was called the (880). The Polara was a fancy, powerful version of the Dart for 1962. It came in only a 2 door hardtop, 4 door hardtop and a convertible. |

This looks like the Dart 440 Wagon. This is a sedan version. I don't think that the 1962 Dart came as a 4 door hardtop wagon. |
