lovely though, whats the difference between a Ford Thunderbird like Thelma and Louise one and this one which is only Thunderbird? |
◊ 2007-06-10 10:46 |
Thunderbird was made by Ford indeed, but under its own make |

But then Thelma nd Louise one should be only Thunderbird as well? |

Thunderbird was never a separate make - it was always a Ford. |

It seems it was, according to my litterature.. |

According to my litterature it was a separate car make indeed, but it's name is "Ford Thunderbird", like there was also the 'separate' make "Chevrolet Corvair" and "Chevrolette Corvette" that were, strictly speaking, not 'just' Chevrolets... |

Well, I do not see the interest of listing a separate make "Ford Thunderbird" since it would be displayed identically anyway. It is already not very useful to consider Thunderbird as a separate make, as everybody will search those under Ford Thunderbird, especially if 99% of those suppose to be just "Thunderbird" are listed as Ford, like currently. -- Last edit: 2007-06-10 18:16:51 |

That's right. Let's keep it Ford, model Thunderbird. |
