SUMB wasn't the model name : it was the whole "manufacturer" name : SIMCA-UNIC Marmon Bocquet. A collaboration between Bocquet, UNIC and its former owner SIMCA. The model name was MH 600 BS (MH was most likely a reference to the Marmon-Herrington drivetrain). |

@ JB: Due to the fancy way you usually "identify" model years, can you please give some real explanation for this assertion? And please don't answer that as the others blue SUMBs in the IMCBd are said to be 1968 models, this one, as blue model, has to be a 1968 truck too... According to this source, the SUMBs were produced from 1959 onward and were in service from 1964 until the late 1990s. This may explain the 1964 MY usually given in the IMCDb. |
