This wouldn't be a '33 Willys, rather a '37 Ford V8 Tudor Sedan (albeit with an aftermarket grille). '33 Willys never had a sloped-back roofline or split rear window like the '37 Ford. The character, River Scott, is based on NASCAR legend Wendell Scott, who famously built and drove a '37 Ford Sedan with a similar livery. Per this interview with the Scott family, who were consulted for the film: "The River Scott character that I worked with Disney Pixar on — that's the car," Warrick said, motioning to the '37 Ford in his driveway. "When we were working on that character, when that film was about to come out around 2017, we didn't have any possession of the car whatsoever. Now we do."
