Vauxhall Victor [F] based export for USA or Canada; Envoy or other branding? Location London UK and not UK registered - licence plate missing or rather small here. |

I think I can make out the outline of a UK-sized plate, though I'm not sure what's mounted on the bumper above it. |

Looks like a 1960 Vauxhall Envoy Sherwood Estate for CDN - http://vauxpedianet.uk2sitebuilder.com/vauxhall-f---victor-envoy-canadian-market (final third of page). Could be a UK if location is outside Canadian embassy???? The small plaque might be a CD plate or some sort of CDN diplomatic logo. US Victors kept UK features. |

Small plate could work as a mounting plate for a USA/Canadian license plate; rather like an inverted T-shape its too small for a UK number plate. I am suspecting its an early example of GM-Vauxhall product placement, as the co-star was American the movie possibly had a North American release. |

Main picture replaced, with one of slightly better quality. Looks like a British number plate possibly, mounted lower down on US/CDN sized backplate. |
