Not an Innocenti: Mini made in UK of the late 70s or early 80s. I would say a 1000 Special but dsl would tell more. |

What is that van/pickup behind it? |

I'm...guessing a Piaggio Ape of some sort? This sequence may have been actually shot on location in Rome as I don't recall Minis of this age being sold in the US. Besides, they showed the Colosseum in the next shot. -- Last edit: 2017-06-30 10:27:09 |

Piaggio Ape Poker, I suppose. |

Agree UK early 80s. Too much black trim for a Special, and I think the roof is actually body colour paint, not vinyl. So basic Mini City (= 1000 E in Europe). Made-for-I wing indicators. |

"Made for I" needs to be removed. |

To explain: before 1986, Italy was one of very few markets for UK Minis which had these wing indicators (long, thin, set high close to headlights). From 1986 all Minis for everywhere got new side indicators but different format (square, set lower down, above top of wheel arch - example), which always comes with 1985+ Mk V or later features (12" wheels, bigger arches). |
