Kept noticing the back window was always smeared with dirt - probably to avoid continuity goofs from abruptly changing traffic behind??

MOT history of this vehicle
Test date 15 March 2016
Expiry date 14 March 2017
Test Result Pass
Odometer reading 2,551 miles

- a very pampered existence. Presumably it was always on a trailer when they did interior shots and only trundled a few yards every so often for the occasional exterior sequence??

Oh yeah. Good thinking. The rest of the car is shiny.

Can't find any 500L's listed on a 62 plate. This was i guess a big sales stunt with perhaps an early demo vehicle?

... plus it'll need a new MOT before the new series :)

.... seems one or two planks involved, and no apparent damage to bodywork afterwards.

Err - yes, since agreement in 1959 the International mile, 1.609344 km or 5280 feet, is the same the world over.

https://www.thefreedictionary.com/international+mile

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mile See para 2 for countries using the International mile, inc. the U.K. and USA, the US survey mile which IS slightly different, having fallen into minor use.

Did you think I would have made such a statement without first checking my facts?
