No, the P1800 was the sports car, this is an Amazon/122/132

Due to the film location, this car is most likely a model sold in the USA (1) from late 1959 onwards. Which means indeed a 122S (4-door 120-Series or 2-door 130-Series), as, if I'm not mistaken:
• the Amazon name was only used in the Swedish market (and in the other Nordic countries?);
121, Favorit and 123 GT models were not sold in the USA.

My first idea was a 4-door sedan due to what seems to be a rear door handle, but I don't see any rear quarter windows, the driver's door is a large one, and the left upper corner of the rear window seems to be a round one. All these 3 clues indicate clearly that the "rear door handle" can't be nothing but a sunlight reflection (it's just on the line made by 2 others, on the roof gutter and on the chrome bar) on a 1962-70 2-door P130 model...

1: or a model built (as CKD) and bought in Canada, which would make it a 1964+ Volvo Canadian :)

PS: I followed atom's nomenclature for the Made for [Image: USA.png] and the 'Amazon' complement.

Late one. I see 1965+ wheels. And note the head rests.

Should we date it '1965', rapid?

1965+ hubcaps (fr) indeed. But I don't find any mention about the head rests, and all factory pictures in this site show seats without them until the 1970 model year (the movie was released in April 1969).
(I don't mean they can't be used for the identification, I just say I can't help with this :D )

1965-1968

1965+ Wheels and hubcaps, 1965+ Shield badge on the front fender. 1968 last year with chromed gutter rail and hood trim. Made for: USA not only by the name but by the thin WW. They where discontinued as an option in 1964 but was still an option in USA and Canada but for how long I don't know.
The seats had pre mounted sleeves for the headrests from 1965 but the headrests were an option from 1965. They became standard equipment from 1968 in the US.
