Due colour and softtop it's a former military version (called "Wolf" at the Bundeswehr). Were military G's delivered to America (Canada maybe) ot it's rather a private import? |

This is at least meant to be Spain, isn't it? The cars have Spanish plates, and I can't see any yellow lines on the road. EDIT: Oh, they faked some of the Spanish scenes in the US. /vehicle_348086-Mercedes-Benz-W123.html -- Last edit: 2010-11-09 12:43:16 |

Yes, set in Spain, after the chases with the Smart Roadsters. Suddenly you see only Mercedes & VW, I guessed that it was shot in USA then ![]() |

Aftermarket sidemarker; either modified ex-army or simple civil version, so probably not a less high German 'Wolf'. Anything else what's visible is less revealing, so 1979 by default without other shots (what is not that likely for an almost blurred 1star car...) EDIT: Indeed a brief scene. Couldn't figure out details or plate (probably fake anyway like the others in the movie) on TV, but enough to see it is indeed a civil version. -- Last edit: 2022-07-02 00:13:14 |
