CGH 3B format matches several mid-late 60s US things we have sightings in UK - 3 letters + single digit + suffix letter - I guess these were deliberately allocated to importer head offices. Also in a different direction, CGH 8B was the famous Daihatsu Compagno press car, which was the first Japanese car sold in Britain. (Even if they only sold six). |
