This is a Daimler (rear plinth and the alloys like Tali said). It's definitely an X300 era car (due to rear bumper) and I think it's a Six rather than a Double Six because I freeze-framed this scene on an HD channel and the little badge on the B-pillar looks too wide to be 'V12' so it's probably a 'Daimler' badge. Comparison: Six: Link to "www.jaguarclassifieds.org.uk" Double Six: http://cars-img.com/cars/daimler-x300/daimler-x300_05.jpg -- Last edit: 2015-05-04 15:00:09 |

I believe this may be my Daimler. Reasons: ● Sherwood Green was technically 1 model year only on saloons, even if my car predates its official introduction. ● In ten years as an X300 collector and longer as a motoring journalist I have never seen another Sherwood Green Daimler Six LWB. ● Like my car, the courtesy light appears not to work on the nearside front door. Obviously the false plate means I cannot check, but I would be VERY keen to learn if anybody on the production remembers the car or has any behind the scenes photos. It would have been N214ENF or possibly N1ABE at the time. |

Yes, everything listed is correct if mine. It's a very unusually specced car if it is the one I have. |
