a little correction, not Barkas 900 but Barkas V901, but hard to say, because 1952-1957 it was called Framo V901, and 1957-1961 Barkas V901

In 1952 these were still called Framo V 901 (which is the name they´re usually known by).

Though that's a later one - by the front wings - 1953/54, by the side indicators it is, I belive, a Barkas indeed. As I've checked, cars from the 1956 do not have it. They were renamed to Bakras in 1958.

EDIT - like they stated here, indicator lights were in fact optional already in the 1956 Framo V901-2 Z. Of course in 1989 it was already old-vinage car, which could be customized at least 10 times. Also at the linked site they rather mean the typical indicators placed below the healdamps and not like here, next to doors.
