Despite Mike using the car a lot during this episode, there were few actually decent shots of the car. The show's cinematographer seems to prefer far-away shots of everything...![]() -- Last edit: 2016-04-20 21:54:35 |

They made up for it in the first episode of season 3: There's a disassembly scene where Mike is looking for a potential tracking bug, and there are tons of shots of the interior, under the hood, underneath the car, and so on. Other than faded paint, the car looks like it's in really nice shape. Unfortunately, it's disassembled and not reassembled (he's said to have sold it to a salvage yard in the dialogue), though other than slashed upholstery, it doesn't appear the car used in the show suffered any real damage. It's also namechecked as a "1987 Caprice wagon." |

S.3 episode 1 5.5 minute long scene, best junkyard scene ever. It's after a decent amount of him driving through the desert and someone putting a stick on his horn when he's about to shoot Salamanca. Junkyard scene starts at 19:00 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The junkyard manager comes and tells him they're closing, but he still hasn't found the tracker. The car is in bits and pieces, scattered everywhere. He asks the guy to call him a cab. The man replies, "what about your vehicle?" and he says "keep it." Once inside, where the man calls the cab, he sees they sell gas caps. He finally realizes the one place he hasn't looked yet, and the easiest place for someone to put a tracker without disassembling his whole car.. -- Last edit: 2022-04-18 11:35:12 |
