1939-47 'Job-Rated' stake (T/V/W-Series), here with the grille and park lamps (on the cowl side) of a 1941-47 W-Series indeed. The front wheel rim indicates a heavy-duty model: a 1½-ton WF-Series, a "1½-ton Special" WG-Series (downgraded 2-ton model with 1½-ton specs) or a 2-ton WH-Series, all with the same or really close wheelbases. If I'm not mistaken, a pre-war 3-ton WK-Series would have the same cab too, but its wheelbases were longer than this one... Ford Guy wrote some times ago to CVS, and they admitted that the model years they give are sometimes wrong, due to modifications they make on the vehicles. Here is a perfect exemple, as a 1946-47 model wouldn't have these specific 1941-42 chrome bars in the lower grille... ⇒ 1941 Dodge W-Series Stake |
