Looks like vertical rear door edge so 86"?? But early body without panelling under door? |

1948-53: 80"/2.03 m 1954-56: 86"/2.18 m 1957-58: 88"/2.23 m I agree with dsl about a 1954-56 86" model: besides the straight doors, and according to this page, a 1948-53 80" would have the headlamps under the steel grille, while the ones of a 1957-58 88" would have chrome bezels (I see them body-colored, here). @dsl: The 1954-56 models are also said to be without sills in the same source, so it's not inconsistent with your idea. Unless I didn't understand your 2nd question? |

You understood my 2nd question perfectly. However, your reference page oversimplifies later 80" grilles - there was a change in 1952 to headlamps outside the grille for 80" - see eg /vehicle_74987-Land-Rover-80---Series-I-1952.html and others in our collection. So I swithered here with late 80" alongside 86" and wanted someone else to confirm. As you now have. |

I made the oversimplification The concerned page says exactly: |
