Despite this vehicle has not the Scrambler package, should it have it as name, as it seems to be more a nickname rather than an official name?![]() ![]() A continuity error: this CJ-6 replace the CJ-8 for 5 seconds during the chase: ![]() (A steep slope: what better way to show the off-road capabilities a Jeep?) ![]() ![]() (For the IMPDb? ![]() ![]() ![]() (This is the end...) -- Last edit: 2015-04-12 05:25:01 |

If you're talking about the film location, as said here, I didn't find any information about it. What would it give as possible clue? |

I'm pretty sure the film was made in Israel, because many of the cast and crew are Israeli and some vehicles have the characteristic red and white reflectors on the back. /vehicle_26542-Volkswagen-Panel-Typ-2-T2-1968.html During the 1980s Israel was the usual location for American action films set in the Middle East, because it was politically friendly, it had a local film industry and Israeli producers such as Golan and Globus (Cannon Films) were themselves making films for the American market. |

The main vehicle is Israeli built CJ6 of the 1980's (wide axles). Has the long wheel base but short rear overhang, right side rear fuel filler, no JEEP logo on the side panel, large front marker lights, front fender side marker lights... Has the door cut out of CJ7/8 which is often confusing but this is CJ6. |
