Why '53 and why Lark? I don't see this as a 4-door. Could be a '52. |

No chrome around the back window makes it a Lark. And I think it's a 2-door also, that would make it a 1952 or 1953. Now here's the clincher. Look close at the taillights and the rear bumper guards. They are 1954! There were quite a few 1953 Aero Larks that were re-serialed as 1954's and this looks like one of them. Regular production 1954 Larks would look the same except they'd have wrap-around rear windows instead of the smaller one like in this picture. |
